The Commonwealth Broadcasting Association invites applications from full-time staff of member broadcasting organisations for the 2007 - 8 Commonwealth Professional Fellowships.
The fellowships are in specific categories and must be of practical value. The Professional Fellowships Programme seeks to enhance the skills of mid-career practitioners in developing countries. Priority will be given to visits which will have practical application in the areas of education, engineering, environment, governance, public health and technology.
Applicants are encouraged to discuss their proposals first with the CBA before sending in the applications.
Only staff of member organisations from the relevant Commonwealth countries listed on the Applicant's Guidance Notes are eligible to apply. The CBA would nominate upto two applicants for the fellowships. The final selection would be made by the Commonwealth Scholarships Commission.
If selected, the fellowships should be taken in September 2007 for three months.
Please check the Guidance Notes given below and fill in the Application Form (which can be downloaded from the website).
When filling in the application form electronically, please do not expand the sections of the form if possible, as in longer applications some information may be missed out by selectors who have to go through hundreds of forms.
The closing date for receiving applications is 20 March, 2007
Please send six (6) copies of application and two (2) copies of passport photographs (signed at the back) by post or courier to:
