Palestinian cameraman killed during Israeli assault

A Palestinian cameraman was killed in the Gaza City neighbourhood of Shijaiyah on Sunday, according to news reports and the journalist's colleague. More than 60 Palestinians and 13 Israeli soldiers were killed in clashes between Israeli and Hamas forces in Shijaiyah that day, according to news reports. Three journalists injured by Israeli airstrikes in Gaza

Israeli airstrikes on buildings housing media outlets in Gaza injured at least three journalists this week. The strikes came as Israel engages in a ground offensive in the Gaza Strip. Israeli airstrike destroys press car, killing Palestinian media worker

The Committee to Protect Journalists has condemned the Israel Defence Forces' airstrike on a car clearly marked as a press vehicle in Gaza City on Wednesday. The airstrike killed Hamid Shihab , a driver for the Gaza-based press agency Media 24 , according to the agency. Israeli forces raid Palestinian broadcaster

The International Press Institute (IPI) Thrsday urged Israeli authorities to refrain from interfering in media outlets’ editorial decisions following a raid last Friday on the studios of a Palestinian broadcaster. Israel halts printing of Gaza papers in West Bank

The International Press Institute (IPI) Friday condemned an Israeli security forces raid on a Palestinian printing plant in an apparent effort to halt publication of several newspapers. Molotov cocktail attack on news agency’s Gaza City bureau

Paris-based press freedom group Reporters sans Frontières (RSF) has condemed the attack on the Gaza City bureau of the independent Palestinian news agency Ma’an on July 10.
