Jailed Pakistani journalist freed in Afghanistan

The Nangarhar High Court in eastern Afghanistan has ordered the release of a Pakistani television journalist imprisoned in the country since April 22, 2014. Faizullah Khan , a reporter of ARY News TV channel, was freed on Sunday, September 28 and handed over to the Pakistani diplomat in Jalalabad city. Female journalist brutally stabbed and murdered in Afghanistan

Gunmen attack journalist in Afghanistan

The International Federation of Journalists (IFJ) and its affiliate Afghanistan Independent Journalist Association (AIJA) condemn the attack on journalist Azizullah Hamdard on the night of August 2 in capital Kabul. Journalist killed in Afghanistan; radio presenter murdered while children watched

The International Press Institute (IPI) on Friday called on authorities in Afghanistan to apprehend the assailants who gunned down a journalist at his home last weekend. Pakistani reporter sentenced to 4-year prison term in Afghanistan

A Pakistani television journalist was convicted on charges of travelling to Afghanistan without travel documents and sentenced to four years in prison, Pakistani officials said on Sunday.
