AS Mani, the editor of the Tamil magazine Naveena Netrikkan, was freed on bail Saturday after being held for a month in Tamil Nadu.
Relatives told Paris-based Reporters sans Frontières (RSF) that he returned home at midday. He still faces defemation charges.
