NEW YORK: The New York Times announced today that its international weekly edition is being carried by The Korea Times U.S.A. It's the first time the international weekly, which first appeared in the Korea Times on Sept. 12, has been distributed in the U.S.
A team of New York editors from the Times News Service prepares the weekly edition, which is distributed in 20 other countries, retaining the look and feel of the New York Times.
"Through this arrangement, the readers of the Korea Times will be able to gain the exceptional insights of the New York Times' perspective on current affairs in the United States and throughout the world," Jae Min change, publisher of the Korea Times, said in a statement.
The Korea Times is based in Los Angeles and is published Monday through Saturday. The paper is available in 11 U.S. cities, including Dallas, Denver, Honolulu, and Seattle.
