Mangalore Jan 31: A newspaper office was attacked by miscreants this evening in Mangalore.
An office belonging to evening daily Karavali Ale (a sister concern of Canara Times), was attacked by some miscreants today 30 Jan 2007, evening at Baikampady industrial area.
Watchman who was on duty at the time of incident was also said to have been attacked by the mob. Computers, Laser Printers and other stationary equipments have been destroyed, said the sources.
The exact reason for the attack and identity of the miscreants is not yet known. Panambur police officials have rushed to the spot. More details are awaited.
