Dow Jones & Co. (DJ) will launch a new service in conjunction with the Relegence Corp. to offer users a variety of financial information.
The New York-based publishing company, which publishes this and other newswires, said the service, called Dow Jones Total Coverage, will allow users to customize the type of information received and share the reports with clients and colleagues.
Dow Jones Total Coverage will include content from all of Dow Jones' publications, including The Wall Street Journal and Barron's.
Relegence will provide the real-time search and news technology, as well as more than 15,000 additional sources of information, including major and regional newspapers, regulatory agency news and corporate Web sites.
In addition to this and other newswires, Dow Jones publishes The Wall Street Journal and its international and online editions, Barron's, the Far Eastern Economic Review, MarketWatch, Dow Jones Indexes and the Ottaway group of community newspapers. Dow Jones is co-owner with Reuters Group PLC (RTRSY) of Factiva and with Hearst Corp. of SmartMoney. It also provides news content to CNBC television operations worldwide and to radio stations in the U.S.
