A journalism center in Moldova has released a book that collects 75 investigative pieces produced over the past four years. "Dosarul Coruptiei," or "The Corruption Dossier," features articles on various aspects of corruption and the plight of ordinary citizens who face it.
The Center of Journalistic Investigations released the book at a December 20 news conference, according to an announcement from the Independent Journalism Center (IJC) in Chisinau.
Five Moldovan journalists wrote the 75 articles during their work with the center, beginning in 2002. The pieces cover things such as environmental hazards, bribery, kidnapping, assassination attempts, and the misuse of government money.
The National Endowment for Democracy (NED) sponsored the publication of the book, which is available in English and Romanian. There are 400 copies. For more information, contact info@investigatii.md.
